Coverage when you need it, savings when you don’t

  • Save on auto liability insurance costs for your towing business

  • Sign up now and get started saving right away

How It Works

Step 1
Sign up for the On Demand Insurance Program
Step 2
Lower your auto liability coverage to a $300k policy at a minimum
Step 3
Submit your new, lower insurance to Pruuvn
Step 4
For low-risk jobs, proceed as usual
Step 5
For ODI qualified jobs, record the info of the job (location/time of job acceptance, dispatch event or pickup location, and drop off location/time) into a spreadsheet. Be prepared to upload qualified jobs on at the end of every week.
Step 6
For every bump in coverage, we issue a policy certificate for your records. But don’t worry, we keep track of everything!

Say Hello to On Demand Insurance for Towers

We believe in listening to Towers. You work hard to build your towing company everyday, and it’s not fair that insurance companies raise their prices on a product you legally have to have to run your business. Enough is enough.

We created the On Demand Insurance Program to save Towing Business Owners big money on their auto liability insurance. Not every job needs a $1M coverage. We designed this additional insurance so your insurance coverage gets bumped up to $1M whenever a job requires it, and can sit at a more affordable $300k coverage for all your other tow jobs.

How does ODI compare to regular auto liability insurance?

Frequently Asked Questions

How much money can I actually save with this program?

The amount you can save depends on your current insurance costs and how often you need $1M coverage. On average, towers can save significantly by only paying for higher coverage when needed. For example, if only 20% of your jobs require $1M coverage, you could potentially save up to 60% on your insurance costs. However, exact savings will vary based on your specific situation.

How does the Pruuvn ODI program know when I've completed a job that needs the On Demand Insurance?

As apart of the pilot program, you are responsible for uploading your relevant towing information at the end of every week. This will include the time and location of: initial location when job received, location of dispatch event or vehicle pickup, and your location when the job was complete, among other items.

Will this affect my ability to get jobs that require $1M coverage?

No, it shouldn't affect your ability to get these jobs at all. From the perspective of clients requiring $1M coverage, you'll have that coverage whenever it's needed. Our system ensures you're always properly covered for each specific job.

What if I have an accident during a job? How do I know which coverage applies?

If an accident occurs, the coverage that was in effect at the time of the incident will apply. We maintain detailed records of every coverage change, so there's always a clear record of your coverage status. You can also access your current coverage status and history through our app or website at any time.

How does this affect my relationship with my current insurance provider?

You'll still maintain a relationship with your primary insurance provider for your base $300k coverage. Our ODI program works as an additional layer on top of this. We recommend informing your current provider about your participation in our program, but it shouldn't negatively impact your relationship with them.

What happens if your system goes down? Will I lose coverage?

We have robust backup systems and redundancies in place to prevent service interruptions. However, in the unlikely event of a system failure, your base $300k coverage would remain in effect, and we have emergency protocols to ensure you can still request higher coverage if needed.

How does billing work? Will I get a separate bill for each time my coverage is increased?

You'll be billed a flat rate of $99 per month per truck for participation in the program. For each time your coverage is bumped up to $1M, there's an additional charge of $7 to $14.
